My Journey
I’ve been playing the piano since the age of five, and teaching is now at the heart of what I do. I work with both children and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced players, and I always tailor lessons to suit each individual.

For younger students, I focus on building strong musical foundations in a supportive and encouraging environment, helping them grow in confidence while keeping lessons enjoyable and engaging. For adult learners, I offer a flexible and understanding approach — whether you’re returning to the piano after a break or starting for the first time, lessons are shaped around your goals and pace.

Alongside practical playing, I naturally introduce music theory in a way that feels clear and relevant, so students develop a well-rounded understanding without it feeling overwhelming.

I hold a BA in Music and am currently completing an MA in Music Education, where I specialise in effective and practical approaches to teaching. This means my lessons are informed by both experience and up-to-date educational thinking.

As a musician, I have performed in orchestras and ensembles for many years and continue to run my own choir. This real-world experience feeds directly into my teaching, helping students develop not just technique, but musicality and confidence.

Above all, my aim is to make lessons a positive and rewarding experience. I believe every student can make progress with the right support, and if something isn’t working, I adapt my approach to find what does.
Lessons
Tailored for You
I offer piano lessons that fit every skill level and age group. Each lesson is customized to meet your individual goals and interests.
Currently taking students for September 2026

Adult Lessons
Taking up an instrument in adulthood is one of the most valuable things you could do with your time and I am here to work alongside you in your learning. Whatever pace or level suits you I am happy to move with you as you pursue greatness as a pianist!
Children Lessons
Piano lessons for children focus on building solid technique, musical understanding, and a genuine love of music. I aim to create a positive learning experience where children feel supported, motivated, and proud of their progress.

Music Theory Lessons
Music theory underpins everything pianists learn. Beyond supporting exam progression, it helps beginners truly understand and make sense of the musical world around them. My group theory sessions aim to remove the stigma of “boring” theory lessons, bringing concepts to life in an engaging, accessible, and enjoyable way.
